Yeah, the lego car models are getting more badass every year. Landing a Ferrari license can only mean good things for my shelves and bad things for my wallet. Hopefully a 288 or 250 is in the works too. My biggest complaint is they aren't very good about keeping scale with each year's release. Or compare both to the VW bug and it's not even in the same ballpark.

They've had a Ferrari license for a long time; I have an Enzo/333SP in pieces, as well as a bunch of Ferrari F1 cars that my wife bought. Picked this up this week for the two of us to build: Apparently it's 2' long.

I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly really want technology to get to a point where materials and electric motors are good enough so that car manufacturers make cars like the above stations wagons and such again. I don't want to go fast in them really, I just a) don't want to die if some dickhead crashes into me and b) have to remortgage my house to run one. This would be the correct application of advanced materials and technology, you know it to be true. *edit: also I keep looking at Japanese car sites... http://www.japancaraccess.com/japanese-used-nissan-be-_8529260321.html 63902km. 5 speed manual. 1 litre engine. The pics in there are from the automobile driving museum in el segundo and the nethercut in sylmar. If we had poo poo like that near here, i'd always be in there. Forums goon "reddit liker" posted this in the gbs youtube thread so I figured I'd cross-post because I remember watching this in 2009 and was probably the most exciting last ten minutes of a race I've watched, even if I hated the outcome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brNtbaMadX4
