Every one of these I've seen so far has been excellent. Is the show as good as the gifs?

Also, Woody is looking quite fit and square-jawed, but what is up with his hair? He has a bunch of hair in the beginning of that gif, and I know drat well he's bald. He's bald again by the end of the gif. Does he wear a toupee in the show? Is that like a plot point?

Show is actually even better than the gifs.

The hair is a plot point; the story shifts between several different points in time.

I grabbed the entire set of movies (26!) in the criterion collection and its really, really good. Its about a blind masseur who is also an expert swordsman, like a feudal Japanese Daredevil, and I highly recommend it.
