Which is amusingly considerably more expensive to produce because you need an IPSS specialist to translate the material into an interactive format. The Army is also dicking around with alternative training videos, like the new TBI training.

Is any of that online training actually good and/or useful? Everything I've taken so far is common sense crap I could have answered had they just given me a test instead of making me sit through a bunch of surprisingly long online classes. The Traffic Safety one seemed like it would never end.

https://dema.az.gov/dema/news/arizona-national-guard-prepares-arm-service-members-self-defense So many people are going to have firearms accidents. And so many other people are going to commit suicide due to the eight days of firearms training that will be split over four drills for the next six months. Holy poo poo this is a bad idea. I think it was an AZNG O3 that was quoted as saying "I wouldn't trust half of the soldiers in the national guard with even a nerf gun, much less a real one."

No, it was just a bit of gallows humor during a situation we're all still trying to process. This guy was less than a year from retirement; he had his twenty year letter hanging in his office. It's going to be a flaming catastrophe wrapped in a clusterfuck covered with a tragedy and tied together by a poo poo-fest bow. People are still trying to tell me I'm wrong. Whenever I had to play like i was a real soldier, in basic as well, and had to carry a loaded weapon I'd just bang a mag in and not chamber a round. Problem solved. The perfect solution to when the army is being more gay than normal, and there's no chance you are gonna have to shoot someone (or have blanks loaded).
