I'm down with raising the minimum wage, but just to make sure businesses don't go out of business with this clearly socialist policy, let's cap the maximum wage at $200,000. Including fringe benefits.

I got a 2014 Sierra and last year I think I had 7 recalls to do on it? Don't buy the first generation of a brand new design I guess. I think two of them involved potentially setting my truck on fire too.

It will go into effect in NYC in 2018, and the rest of the state by 2021. Nice! I've never worked harder than for minimum wage. Those jobs loving suck. I make more than twice the federal minimum now and I've got chairs and electric fans going for me and poo poo.

I sell software programs that automate workflows and get people fired cause a computer does their job Not kiosks or retail/food slaves and poo poo but like salaried people in enterprise environments. Its p sweet. I calculate how many people are gunna be fired and theyre estimated wage and back like 10/15 points off it and sell it to companies as a cost savings againat paying salary, 401k, bennies etc. AMA

Real talk: automation can only replace so much. It's excellent for detection, but awful at decision making because we still haven't figured out a way to make machines think critically. Even Watson still searches through what's nothing more than a massive encyclopedia to answer Jeopardy questions, which is why companies specifically built around automation and algorithms like Google and Amazon still employ large numbers of incident handlers and analysts at their network monitoring and security operations centers to interpret and make decisions on alarms, and why the military still employs spergs to identify targets to be droned.

This is spot on. Our bread and butter is the elimination of data entry positions. Its like the easiest sale in the world. You bundle some scanning technology with OCR and have information on set forms automatically entered in a database. This is across vertical markets and plays well in HR, medical, dental and education. I can automate the registration of students, the inputting of patient data, the on-boarding process of a new employee, whatever. I sold a major equestrian venue because I showed them how to automate registration of the horses and their riders and saved them a room full of people typing away at a computer in an excel sheet. Once the data is in, than you get into what you want to do with it and how you want to use it. Cost and complexity goes up exponentially.
