I just don't think you can get the same quality unpainted figures by having some Chinese factory workers procrastinate over them for a few hours as opposed to the unpainted figures you get by slacking off yourself.

Well, I accidentally blew my miniature budget for the rest of the year on this, but there are so many so pretty models I just had to get. Plus international shipping is terrible. Luckily there was one spot left in Wave 2 and I managed to snag it. So in a year I will have forgotten this, will be pleasantly surprised by a ton of miis and the left wondering what I was originally planning to do with them.

I want that boat golem and I have loving idea what the hell I would use it for. Goblin pirate force perhaps? But for what goddamn game?? Graveyard is a good deal for that amount of stuff, and there a few bits and bobs I wouldn't mind picking up as well. I'd love the $60 dragon, but don't think I would ever paint it. But if I did, I know it wouldn't be useful in a game either! I am trying to anticipate what I think I might be wanting by November next year, and I haven't a clue to be honest. $180 for what I have now ($30 of which is for shipping), which doesn't include the hosed exchange rate we currently have. Purchasing stuff for Bones II was much nicer.

Are we going to have a cutoff for bets as we approach the end of the campaign? Like if it's 10 minutes to go and the funding is at 2.849 is it cool if someone swoops in and grabs 2.9 at the last second? Or should we, say, close betting at 5PM eastern time, 1 hour prior to closure, to prevent risk-avoidance?  Also, I feel like I actually have a good chance of getting this, since they just need to generate 100k in the next two hours, but not more than 200k. Man, that Sophie sketch is shockingly not trashy, and seems like the only iteration of the model that I would consider owning. I am currently only in this for a buck, and I am trying to work out how much I can eventually buy in for. After admitting to myself that I really do not need a hundred more guys to not paint, I think that I should be trying to focus on getting some good terrain out of this that I can use for pretty much all the games I don't play. Looks like Graveyard Expansion + Mythic Circle is the way to go for that? It would give me a couple big terrain pieces (crypt, stonehenge) plus an array of fences and smaller pieces to use to make area terrain/etc for games. Also I get a sweetass golem and some random spooky dudes to not paint. I will probably end up throwing in at least one small pack of guys because it's hard to resist not to. Probably the Townsfolk or one of the Pathfinder groups.
