Looks like they're remodelling the forward shuttlebay into a deflector. Still, nice to have a new model. I'm really surprised they're still doing QoL updates like this.

Probably, but if so why do a remodel of the Akira first? Though I figure they know the Defiant will sell like hotcakes (probably the second best seller after the Galaxy, I suspect) so I suspect they're waiting for some real dry spell or after some other sale flops so they can get a quick emergency cash infusion. I mean, more than the constant string of desperate releases as is.
