The movies are okay though, there's a spy vs spy subplot and there are special forces EX-Gears and I am sperging over a show in a thread that has nothing to do with, ostensibly, anime.

This is gonna be my first spacegame proper (discounting Space Engineers). Held off on getting into the genre so far because I didn't like the complexity/art direction of anything that I saw, but this looks perfect. It's like a checklist of my favorite stuff terms of the visuals & audio (burnt glow, muffled bass thuds, cel-shading) and gameplay (short sessions, slow-mo tactical view, shotgun, drifty). Looking very forward indeed.
