also a pharmacist (chemist in commonwealth english ) has to know a lot about pharmacology and drug interactions, because a patient can have multiple prescriptions from multiple doctors who aren't aware of what the others are prescribing. it's like a final check to make sure nobody screwed up

and the majority of the fuckups things a pharmacist needs to know how to do measure out a bit of water to make antibiotics sometimes weigh tablets rather than count them coz gently caress counting 540 metformin know that when a doctor writes prozac he means fluoxetine know that when a doctor prescribes one tablet they mean one box change the doctors instructions when they give overdoses to 5 month olds (twice this week) count count in fives count in twenty fives I mixed a cream and a ointment yesterday on a large slab of glass chat to customers have banter with milfy customers remember people's names look at people's bodies as diagnose them for free sell people codeine tell people their boner pill prescription repeats have expired I think

I think it's inappropriate but our pharmacy has a strange relationship with that dr [he owns the building doesn't help] so I just talk to te patients and let tem know what they're getting them selves into
