I used to play this specific sweet game with him." Spinnock played with Seerdomin. Spinnock was also a hell of a fighter in that he held up Kallor from sundown to sunup just to delay him, Spinnock wasn't even attacking. Like after reading that single quote on the wiki how is there debate unless Esselmont went insane and had Mother Dark blend both Anomander and Spinnock into Jethiss.

Yeah that was the giveaway for me, and one of the things that made me feel better about the ending than a lot of people here when the book came out.

Btw, (RG spoiler) I still haven't seen her/it again and I'm almost done with Reaper's Gale. Does he/she/it ever come back?

Even if you want to read it that way, Rake presumably never met Seerdomin so it would be strange for him to think of him as a friend and want to visit his barrow.

# ? Sep 2, 2015 07:22 |
He knew Itkovian, though. edit: VVV IIRC they're both buried at the same place. I could check but that'd mean rereading TtH and Assail so gently caress that, hopefully someone with fresher memories comes along. anilEhilated fucked around with this message at 07:37 on Sep 2, 2015 |

Yeah but did he play that chess game with him? BTW I've also heard people speculate that Jethiss' line is referring to Whiskeyjack, who was notably one of Rake's few friends, and who may have played Andii-chess with him when they hung out in MoI. So that could still point to him being Rake. I also remember people saying Jethiss' description of his build didn't like up with Spinnock's but again it's been a while since I've read TtH. The only Esslemont book I've read was RotCG and it was so awful I don't think I plan on trying the others. Assail at least sounds somewhat interesting but I think I'm ok.

Dare I reach up and reopen TtH? The Ninth Layer posted:Yeah but did he play that chess game with him? Yes, but Whiskey Jack was interred in Moon's Spawn with the rest of the Bridge Burners, which was sent out to sea from Coral to sink. The quote from Assail specifically mentions a barrow. I can't remember what happened to Seerdomin's body, whether it was dumped in garbage but later recovered and interred, but his spirit was definitely chilling with the Redeemer in his barrow.

That scene with Toc telling an old man who doesn't even believe him all the poo poo he's went through since the start of the series was super great. I love how about halfway through Reaper's Gale I was on the verge of getting bored when he introduced yet another new race and then HOLY poo poo MALAZANS IN LETHER NOW WE'RE COOKING OH THERE'S HELLIAN THREATENING TO CUT ONE OF HER TITS OFF GOD I MISSED YOU GUYS.

Yeah. I vaguely recall a conversation where Quick Ben explains to Kalam that if you blast a whole lot of otataral with a whole lot of magic, you get an otataral dragon. Of course, he may be mistaken. IIRC, it's either in Bonehunters or DoD/TCG.

I don't recall that conversation at all. Korabas is an element force. IIRC the discussion wasn't about throwing magic at otataral, but throwing munitions at it, wasnt it?
