Maybe if he has though what's done is done and it's just a matter of waiting to see what symptoms appear when. In comic logic yes, in the real world, water is a fantastic shield against radiation in addition to whatever shielding the containers provide.

SomeMathGuy posted:That was not an edit, terrifyingly. I'm not sure why daily Phantom has undergone such a meteoric downfall but when I'm thinking back on this election arc and the John X arc it's... something, alright. Paul Ryan is the daily artist and Terry Beatty is the Sunday artist, but Tony DePaul writes both. My (totally unsubstantiated) theory is that the syndicate instructed DePaul to dial it back a few notches. While we goons all agree that "Diana Goes To Jail" was loving awesome, it was also really dark and intense by newspaper comic standards. Now consider the demographics that are reading newspaper comics, and how the most popular strips are the most bland and inoffensive ones. I think the Sunday strips get a bit more leeway, which would explain the difference we've been seeing lately. Plus they have to compete with Prince Valiant in the "violent adventure epic" category.
