in mgs v i just got the tape where huey breaks down because hes never seen otacon but given his behavior this far im waiting for the next tape to reveal he actually sent hal to an orphanage or something because he was getting in the way of his research. Ocelot is going too easy on huey is waht im getting at

Huey is quite possibly one of the most realistically despicable characters to ever be in a videogame- not like in what he is (silly anime poo poo - a paralyzed robotics expert with an exoskeleton) but in his attitude: he is the epitome of an entirely self-centered weasel and hides every single bit of his negative traits behind a veneer of being utterly pitiful Like he does legitimately awful stuff over and over and over and over and utterly refuses to take responsibility for ANY of it. Like in a world of comic book villains who burn children alive and rape people and force other people to rape people he's close to the most detestable person
