https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bruvelo/bruvelo-simplify-and-elevate-your-coffee?ref=category This dude has an idea for a coffee maker that you can turn into real life coffee makers for only just short of a million goddamn dollars! He had this idea before and the project was an overwhelming success but, as he says in the video, 150 thousand dollars just isn't enough to make this coffee maker thing happen. So now he needs almost ten times that amount! Because reasons! CJacobs has a new favorite as of 00:34 on Sep 26, 2015 |

Lots of kickstarters fail for that reason, they never factor in manufacturing and shipping. That said, the new amount is ridiculous.

The gameplay seems okay to me from my fiddling around with it, if a bit uninspired. But the cutscenes are so lifeless, especially since the lips don't move. It's kinda creepy.

It's not particularly bad, it's just dull. There are a few things we all agreed on: -the dash thing seems a little shoehorned in, the overarching design of the game from the levels just doesn't gel with the mechanic -too many tutorial popups and material -despite that, the uses of various pickups isn't all that obvious visually, and the effect icons aren't easily understandable or explained during the course of normal gameplay like basic poo poo is -the design's all over the place. It's like the devs watched that egoraptor video and understood roughly a quarter of it -the visual design is a bit on the busy side edit: 380 THOUSAND comments! Holy poo poo!

I don't think I've seen this laser razor thing posted here. It's supposedly a razor that cuts with laser (not a laser hair removal thing) threaded through some kind of optical fiber. Seems dubious at best, but what I really like about it is the new demo video they've posted.

Seems dubious at best, but what I really like about it is the new demo video they've posted. First of all, they talk about the problem with disposable razors as though electric razors didn't already exist. Its not like its disposable or laser, there's a whole middle ground in there that most people already use, which their video overlooks completely. "Wavelengths of light have been discovered that can cut through dark hair, but not light hair" uh okay Their example unit is clearly just a mock that doesn't work, they don't know how it'll work. They have a high powered laser that can cut hair, whoopdie doo. How are they going to fit that into a razor, or how are they going to make it into a stream laser instead of a point, how expensive will it be, how long will the battery last, and will it even be any more comfortable than a normal razor? Of course it will, because it uses lazers Naturally people are throwing money at it You can get a pretty good electric razor for $200 at the store right now.

Yeah that's the worst part, with a lazer razor there's no way you can shave as fast. You'll have to sloooooowly shave each part of your face as you wait for the laser to keep up. gently caress that. Unless the laser is like, dangerously powerful, in which case you better believe its gonna give you some razor burn of a whole new variety. E: Hahahaha that video. Well, they do have a prototype at least, I was wrong about that. But holy poo poo its even slower than I imagined. You could shave with scissors faster. And look at how much hair it left afterwards! Its not even a close shave because of the bulky parts. Zaphod42 has a new favorite as of 17:03 on Sep 28, 2015 |

Some company tried marketing hair removal creams to men, but they just kept using razors like complete pillocks, because creams didn't give them the sense of masculinity. Since then no one makes hair removal creams for men. gently caress those guys.
