That was quick, any reason why you are getting rid of it? Also, why sell it at this point when you should still be within a return window?

The wait for my Rufus Cuff is killing me, so I got a 360 from eBay for $90. I'm hoping I can sell it for the same (or more!) in the UK in a couple of months. Looking forward to trying it out, I've already picked up some futuristic watch faces. Are there any tips for conserving battery, like for example disabling the heart/footstep monitor?

The face you use seems to have a big effect on how long that battery lasts - some are far more draining than others.

I was reading Engadget and noticed that the Zenwatch 2 launched today on the Google store, and my poor impulse control lead me to purchase one just now. I have been wanting to get some sort of smart watch for a while, and since switching from an iPhone to an LG G4 the reduced cost in Android Wear devices makes it much easier to do. I can justify $150 on a Zenwatch, but not double or more for an Apple Watch.

Are these cracked 360s first or second generation? I was considering getting a 2nd gen, but not if this is an ongoing problem.

i am having serious battery issues with my 360 second gen. The most i've gotten is ~12 hours. Is it the twitter notifications that are killing it?

So I've been playing with my new Moto 360 (as in old second hand Moto 360) and I'm enjoying it. Got the Minimal&Elegant face, the Delayed Lock app, Coffee, but I was wondering if there are any more recommended apps I should be using? I mainly got it for notifications but I was just curious if there's anything cool I missed.

OK, one last question about the old Moto 360 : when I flick my wrist, the screen comes on, regardless of whether I've turned wrist motions on or off in the Settings menu. That's not right, is it?

Alan_Shore posted:OK, one last question about the old Moto 360 : when I flick my wrist, the screen comes on, regardless of whether I've turned wrist motions on or off in the Settings menu. That's not right, is it? No, that is correct. Wrist motions are the ability to cycle through cards by flicking your wrist.

# ? Oct 8, 2015 01:11 |
I may be wrong but I think wrist motions are for scrolling through cards. You might need a different option to keep the display off, which might not exist? I guess you could use theatre mode for that though. BTW battery is a non-issue for the Huatch in case anyone is curious. I'm at 9 hours use with 81% left.

Oh right! Well that could definitely be explained better. It's nice having it come on but I'm sure being able to switch it off would conserve battery. Thanks all!

Yeah, it's amazing what a modern SoC and slightly larger battery will do. Honestly, I think the power savings of AMOLED are overemphasized at this point. The LED backlight of such a small display can't consume that much more power.

My only criticisms are the aforementioned link strap sizing issues and not as good ok google recognition. Like not bad but my N6 will hear me before my watch as I raise my voice, whereas on LG watches I could whisper.
