Majora's has the best side content and story of any Zelda game by far, and the dungeons are interesting design-wise but not very fun to actually play.

Yeah, I was going to say this. I have a lot of respect for Majora's Mask dungeons for being really unique (well, except for Woodfall Temple.) Great Bay has the water currents you have to manage, Snowhead has the giant pillar in the middle that influences your path through the dungeon, and Stone Tower of course has the flipping mechanic.

The issue is Great Bay is a bit of a chore to get through, Stone Tower is cool aesthetically and definitely challenging but you'll be absolutely sick of Elegy of Emptiness by the end. Imo, Snowhead is pretty much perfect though and one of the best Zelda dungeons bar none.

They're good, but they automatically lose a point each for both Temples being extended escort quests so they slide under MM's by a hair.

If anything needed a button the 3DS version of MM (or at least a fast-foward), it was the goddamn Elegy of Emptiness :suicide:.

You have to buy a separate 3ds specific USB charger, since the charging port on the 3ds itself isn't USB the way phones are. Good news is that it's cheap.

I'm okay with a sequel to SMT IV. I'm just happy I own a platform that SMT games come out for, for once in my life. I never got to play Nocturne, and now I don't want to buy a PS2 just to realize how much I miss QoL improvements from SMT IV :negative:

They've already been doing the Nintendo tradition of making a poo poo-ton of spin-offs and spin-offs of spin-offs of their main franchise.

But seriously, SMT IV had some great style and I am totally looking forward to a sequel.

Well, judging from the sole piece of actual character art, they went and improved Medusa's looks. That's an improvement from the get-go.

I only played it last year and it was a series of very tedious fetch quests especially the zora egg part, would never want to play it again.

Vaguely DS relevant, but Ghost Trick was removed from iOS permanently, aka P.T.-style. As in, it's no longer in your purchase history. You can't re-download it anymore.

So you might want to hunt down a DS cart of the game.

Probably they didn't want to update it to run in new versions of iOS, but were at least ethical enough to not let people buy an app that doesn't run.

It was broken, so they fixed it for iOS8. Then it turns out they broke something else and it was impossible to buy/restore any of your purchased chapters. I dunno how well it fared for iOS9, but chances are it broke again, so they just gave up on it and have delisted it until further notice.

Persona Q is a bad Etrian Odyssey with characters that are bad caricatures of the P3/4 cast.

(The stories in the other P4 spinoffs aren't great either)

I like how you say "until further notice" and not the more likely outcome which is "until the end of time"

I mean, that's what I believed about Ghost Trick working on iOS8 until they kiiind of fixed it. It's incredibly likely, but a miracle has already happened regarding GhostTrick.APP. Same with The World Ends With You for iOS when it got delisted. I wrote that off as dead until it suddenly came back to the App Store.

I'd say it's pretty alright and worth playing, with some caveats. The gameplay's competent enough but it's gonna feel very dated if you've played any recent Tales games, and the lack of voiced skits sucks, too. Also, your party is comprised of a bunch of assholes (and Guy) that hate each other. They start developing past that around the halfway mark, but you should probably stay clear if that isn't your idea of a good time. I would say that the character development is pretty well done, though.

I played Abyss a few months ago and I think it's pretty awful. The first ten hours are entertaining enough and takes a nose dive. The middle part has some of the worst pacing since Xenogears. For far too long it's travel around for one cut scene after another, the game part seemingly forgotten.

I should finish the final boss sometime.
