Edit: it was half elk and half beef. I think I spiced it a bit too much but the rest made excellent meatballs.

Half eaten Smashed Burger. Burger was 90/10 beef with bone marrow mixed in. Cooked in bacon fat. Served with bacon, mushrooms cooked with the burger, Cornichon, garden tomato, red onion, shaved fennel, red leaf lettuce, mediocre cheese and English mustard.

Had 90:10 burger the other day that was like ash in my mouth. So horrifically dry it boggled my mind. Never been more disappointed in my mother as that.

edit: I'll fix this image later. My burger special this week, from bottom to top. Bun, house bacon jam, 1/3lb hand formed and seasoned patty, house smoked pulled pork, hab jack cheese, potato crisps, up egg. ExplodingChef fucked around with this message at 21:03 on Oct 5, 2015 |

GnarlyCharlie4u posted:Tex mex burger, but they ran out of peppers so I got jalapeno poppers instead. I haven't had Hardee's in months, so I was feeling lazy after work yesterday and I also tried out the Tex Mex burger. It was pretty good, didn't fall apart in my hands, and chased with some curly fries it was a pretty good experience. Mine came with the regular cut up jalepenos and bell peppers but I would have taken that popper in a heartbeat just because. VVVVVVVV In Illinois they've been lazy recently and just label everything Hardee's/Carls Jr, which I'm sure cuts down on their marketing expenses or what not. Same goes for Checker's and Rally's, but sadly we don't have any of those without driving 2+ hours. Tyson Tomko fucked around with this message at 16:36 on Oct 13, 2015 |
