Since for whatever reason the goonstack I play with can't win MM despite being 5 ripe players I've gotten good at solo qeueing for rank purposes. Honestly you just gotta learn how to react to what your teammates are doing, make sure you're playing in synergy with other dudes in dependant positions with you. If they push should you hold or fall back or push to? basically mix any of those 4 options in that sentence and know the answer to those questions at all times and that's all you need as a CT player in mm. Then start thinking in a grander scale. Say on cache if your teammates rush B halls and see nothing you should know that they have a lot of people set up towards A, which means you should fall back a little bit to get ready to delay the 4 or 5 people about to come at you as much as you can without dying so you can get the retake when your B players finish wrapping. Basically you need a mindset that will let you make something that looks like a strategy out of the randomness of habits that is MM. E: also in everything except a zerg rush you should bee able to figure out when to rotate in MM games. Between the map and gunshots you can hear across the map and the killfeed you have plenty to figure out that the other site needs your help without them asking.
