Realistically, the difference between elite pets (with the exception of mesh weavers) isn't very significant in PvE because none of them have any real crit chance. Personally, I just use slavers, because I'd rather have the loot than the extra 100 DPS.

The other reason to go with the Fleet T6 Mogai is if you are running the two-piece Mogai consoles. It gives a substantial boost to energy weapon drain resistance and weapons power.

They are always found in the same threads posting stupid poo poo about cats back and forth, but if you call one a furry, they get defensive as poo poo about it. I think Catstar even has a deviantart that's completely full of Catian poo poo (some of it NSFW). Ashkrirk also made some pretty messed up comments about LGBTQ and Trendy during that whole Bluegeek homophobe drama, but I don't think he caught any punishment for it because, well, it was a complete shitshow. I have noticed that Ashkirk's posting has gone way down since then. Edit: found his deviantart and this: a picture of his alias "catstarso" dancing with M'ress in a wedding dress. Perfectly normal stuff happening here. The ship they give you can be made into a pretty boss Enterprise D, it is pretty decent, it has nice Boff layouts and better turn than the old t5.

I can't remember the last time I logged in and actually played. I remember I did 3 missions in a row where it's basically 3 missions of Tuvok getting mentally raped by some speccy oval office who's an 8472 or some poo poo, and getting lost on Voyager. Decided that even as a free game, the opportunity cost of my time spent watching Tuvok getting mentally raped wasn't worth it.

Yes it is essentially the first good Galaxy class ship in the game, and as far as a free ship goes its quite welcome.  Interesting how old designs from the 70s and 80s look better than almost everything Cryptic (and a lot of other Star Trek games) put out.
