Somewhere in between, I think. See below.

My weight is only 145, but so is my bench (I'm shortish at 5'9"), and my squat and deadlift numbers are also acceptable.

I guess bulk is the answer? :ohdear:

How do you have 12% body fat when you weigh 145? I can't even picture that.

No poo poo, how would he even cut that far?

Unless they are really really short and somewhat muscular, that would take some kind of hosed up starvation diet to achieve.

I was able to do about 50 pull ups when I was a 130 pound freshman from just doing literal hours of body weight workouts. Coincidentally I was also v. unfamiliar with the idea of squatting a weight. Leg muscles are heavy.

Yeah I used to climb the rope to the top of the gym and do pull ups on the rafters. I weighed 155 lbs and ran a 5:30 mile.

Probably could have squatted something considering how much running I did.

15 years and 50 lbs later... I'm probably stronger I think.

I dunno, they did a calliper test at the gym and that's what they told me. Guess they could have underestimated (or didn't want to hurt my feelings?) though v:v:v

Is 5'9" really short? :(

I have a really small frame I guess, and I was told by the guy at the gym doing the test that it was really time to start putting some more weight on. I'm now consciously trying to eat more.

Consciously eating more isn't going to do poo poo unless you're tracking calories, because your brain will go "ok full now" and you'll be like 100 calories over what you'd usually eat. You tracking?

Apr 22, 2013

Love heals all wounds. We hope you continually carry love in your heart. Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. We sympathize with the family of (Name). We shall never forget you in our prayers and thoughts. I am at a loss for words during this sorrowful time.

Goon advice?

I'm 6'-2", 275 pounds. Mid 40's. I want to lose 35 pounds. (Yes, 240 is actually a good weight for me, I have a huge frame and tree trunk legs.)
If I were to go back to my 90's lifting routine, it would be:

1) Lead with a squat, deadlift or bench
2) Do 2-3 free weight exercises to hit the smaller muscle groups
3) Finish with some burn-out like a superset or cables or whatever

I'd use periodicity on the big lifts, as in

Week 1: 3x10
Week 2: 3x8 heavier
Week 3: 3x12 lighter
Week 4: back to 3x10 at higher weight

Is that obsolete now? Any advice?

Thanks.
