It's never happened to me erroneously, just for some anecdotal data. I am the type to come home on Friday and simply never touch my phone all weekend on some weekends, and that's the only time I've seen the alert. Not such a big deal to type in my passcode. As a software guy I'd be curious, if there is a bug, to know what's causing it. It's not like calculating "has 48 hours passed since the last unlock" is a tough problem to solve.

Is there a way to schedule iCloud backups to late at night? It seems to rape my 1 meg upload so when the Internet is slow it's often because someone has their iPhone charging. I was thinking of blocking/unblocking the iCloud servers in my router config based on a schedule - this is probably the best I can do, right? Does anyone know what servers I need to block/unblock?

When I get a completed unlock request through via AT&T, do I still need to restore my iPhone via iTunes as the last step or can I just do a erase all/restore on the phone itself?

I've had this a couple of times.Kazy posted:Guess it's not new, but definitely coming up erroneously. It's my phone so it's not like I've gone 2 days without unlocking it once. Have you unlocked it by manually entering your passcode as opposed to using your finger in the last 48 hours?

Strange, I had the same prompt on my 5s this morning. The last time I entered my passcode was after updating to 9.1

TouchID should be delayed while music is playing. I only tap the button to change the song but it's so fast that it just boots the shits

Only takes a few days to get used to it. Or use a finger you don't have programmed to hit the home button, I guess. Also you can use an inline remote button to go forward and backward.

I remember people registering things like their nose, but then it made it so virtually anyone could unlock their phone. But that was when the 5s came out, and it could have been total lies.

Dick unlocking was confirmed when the 5s came out. What is unknown is if vulva unlocking works.

Economic Sinkhole posted:Or use the tip of your penis. Well, since you guys were curious. I tried it just now with my 6S. Yes, I was able to add my penis as a TouchID finger, and was able to unlock my phone with it. At first it was being difficult and said it couldn't get a good read, but I managed to get it to work. So now my phone has 3 things that unlock it. Left thumb, right thumb, and penis. Isn't technology cool?

I would guess that once you get your glans in there, any part of your body would work due to the lack of fingerprints. So putting your dick in your phone is actually a huge security risk.

He retorts, "At Yale, they teach us not to piss on our hands."

Leather is a bit thin, and cheap feeling compared to the apple case, but that makes for a smaller profile. No noticeable bump with 3 cards on my s+, and the edge of the leather adds a tad bit more grippiness. Definitely digging it.

Anyone else have issues with headphone crackling/cutting out when the connector moves on the iPhone6? Specifically headphones that have a microphone and mute button? I should have had this checked out when I was under warranty but I hate going to the mall.

I just realized something that really bugs me about my 6s+. The 3D Touch edge swipe multi tasking gestures only work in portrait. No idea why this can't work in landscape mode, but it stops me using Safari in Landscape mode as it breaks the primary way I switch apps.

Apps exist for the android users that let them preview what their Emojis look like when they send to an iphone or even write out a series of symbols and then copy-paste them over. But I've been looking high and low and I can't seem to find the logical inverse for iphone users. Everyone I know just switched to android phones recently, how the hell am I supposed to tell what i'm sending people. I'd very much prefer a locally stored solution instead of wasting a bunch of data loading a website with all the emojis listed on it a few times a day.
