People here seem to be focusing less on that line of attack and more on the fact that Edwards has picked up plenty of eyebrow-raising endorsements while Vitter decided he wasn't going to address anything this cycle. It really does appear that Vitter has run his campaign so far solely on popularity, as if it was a static metric.
