I'm psyched as hell about the cast but I really doubt the film's gonna be very good.

The red and gold backgrounds and gold title font make me think of The Hunger Games posters.

I was about to say, Dark City still remains one of my favorite movies, so it's sad that he hasn't really made anything good since. At a distance, I thought they were going to make an Egyptian version of Immortals, speaking of directors whose careers have steadily gone downhill.

Immortals was pretty rad. It wasn't a great movie, but it was enjoyable. And holy poo poo, the gore factor.

A better Egypt pantheon movie should reflect how Egypt have been a melting pot of cultures for thousands of years. Like there should be your native Nile gods, some spirit that moved in from the barren desert out West, the sassy jungle goddess, one of Zeus' bastards that got kicked out of Olympus, and a guy who cannot stand sharing the Arab peninsular with Dagon.

If it's the same true story I'm thinking about, the name of the real-life whale that Moby Dick was based on was named the-improbably-more-pornographic-sounding Mocha Dick.

And remember Gerard Butler didn't appear in the 300 sequel because "I don't do these kinds of films anymore." If you like CGI heavy films that was cobbled together in a lengthy post-production because the director couldn't make up his mind, then you'll love this.
