Sure, it's in the usual place:

Most of his activities should be indexed and searchable from ES by now.

Remember to not go directly to the index page for the datamining effort, it takes me like 20 minutes to get that page loaded with all the handles we have.

I'm working on getting the index page sorted out. Should be able to put only a few @handles on it at a time, default will be 40. It's gonna end up with nearly a hundred pages, but It'll default to alphabetical, so it shouldn't be too hard to find things in the future.

Apparently it is a "science carrier", which seems an odd choice for a combat ship, but I'm also interested to see if hangar pets and Gravity Well I are a fun combination. Is it still more optimal to run science ships with a tactical captain?

All of the C-store/dil carriers are commander science. As is the Winter carrier. It's weird.

It's the more useful pick, but yeah I'm really surprised they didn't go with command.

Seems like a good candidate for getting the fleet version instead of the c-store one though. Console's not exciting, you aren't losing out on any skins, and the trait seems more a gimmick than anything.

It's kind of weird that they didn't use this as an opportunity to buff command skills for fighters, but oh well. Lt Com Intel and GW3 make it excellent.

I'm in love. It looks like this amazing mix of carrier command and sciholery, my two favourite play styles. Potently pubbies are bitching and moaning that it doesn't have an extra fire weapon or tax console, but it's not a dreadnought. I do wonder about a secondary deflector and sensor scan and hope they make it in, but either way I'll be happy.

You lose APO but gain GW3, Surgical Strikes and some potentially very interesting semi-frigate pets. Might even out? Running the universal lieutenant as a Tac (naturally) you get TT, 2x FAW and APB, which works fine on the Bastion.

I love my Kar'fi because of the moderate sciholery. Decent turn, so I've got it set up with DBBs and I just Grav Well 3 stuff right in front of me and pummel them into oblivion while my frigs zoom around doing their stuff.

The answer is basically always frigs, unless the frigs really suck. Smaller stuff dies fast, frigs hold in for longer enough that it actually makes a difference.

I might shake the EC out of the piggy bank to get the fleet modules for that carrier to gently caress around with on my old Vesta captain. Honestly I preferred the Omega to the other designs; I liked the huge launch bays on its flanks. I was also okay with it having four nacelles, just wish that two of them weren't weird little gimpy ones. Hopefully it'll come with other nacelle options, though I doubt it.

EDIT: On the topic of the suboptimal sci-whale, there's enough fun sci options now that can almost make up for the lack of meaningful attack patterns, so it isn't too much of a loss. Grav well is still pretty potent, and supposedly that resonance beam is pretty nasty as well. Besides, 4 Sci consoles combined with Radiant Det Matrix and Kemocite is more than enough damage for anything, nowadays.

Science skills aren't... too bad these days honestly, especially after buffs to Tachyon Beam and such. But they still require an annoying commitment to skills you don't really have points for and/or at least 4 science slots to shove partgen consoles into to have any appreciable effect. Engineering skills are basically horrible though beyond EPTW. DEM was alright before Delta Rising hit, but it's still a flat number in a meta where enemy hulls are massively inflated. I do agree on the LtC/Lt tac seating thing though, even with various cooldown reduction traits it's just not that smart to go without two weapon-boosting skills, and you can still fit in a single copy of APB/TT/Kemocite with that many seats. Which is enough with the right cooldown doffs and Reciprocity and/or Peak Efficiency. And there's nothing in the other two fields that can even really begin to replace any of that.

And I still say Science boats (and science carriers) could probably stand to have 4/3 weapon slots across the board, but that's my personal pet peeve. They'd sure sell a lot more of the loving things if they did that anyway.

On activating the device the surrounding players shouldn't be forced to salute, rather they should kiss the staff (so it doesn't break anyone's immersion).
