Well, it fires 5mm rounds in-game, doesn't it? Those are basically .22 mag or .17hmr. Itty bitty squirrel molerat zappers.

Yeah but 5 mm is the bullet diameter, 5.56 is only slighter greater in diameter and thats no squirrel zapper.

edit: Im thinking its a .50 bmg case necked down to 5mm for absurdity.

Yeah - I was thinking of the 5mm remington rimfire stuff. It's probably centerfire 5mm, though.

The Iron Rose, Your mods on Nexus, that have been updated to 2.1 are still showing as 2.0 when in NMM. So its saying they still need to be updated.

does anyone know if it is possible to mod the colour of enemy markers and the caution, danger text?

i use a nice burnt orange HUD colour but the reds do not show against it properly. if I could make it green or blue or something contrasting does anyone know how id go about that?

Thats not really how 3d modeling works its all one piece, not layered clothing.

Trying to put together my mod wishlist. What I'm looking forward to seeing people implement (Or what I'm hoping people will release) :

1) Needs mods, because I'm gay and really loved Hardcore NV. Guaranteed to come out sooner rather than later.

2) The world is filthy, rust everywhere, why is there almost no disease? I would love for a disease mod that implements all kinds of debilitating negative effects and cures and the like. Curie would love it. No clue if anyone else would want this, but maybe?

3) Restore weapons cut from this game that were in previous games. Incinerator, Tesla Cannons, Thermic Lance, etc.

4) Mods that remove the 'size' limit of settlements. Probably already available?

5) A pump-action shotgun. I was so disappointed there's only two shotties, and I hate the way the new Combat Shotgun looks.

6) Greater selection of melee weapons. I like what we got but I want more, especially unarmed weapons. I miss the bear trap fist and the Cram Opener.

Or maybe a mod that let's me invest bottle caps into Sanctuary Hills so they can fix up those hosed up looking houses. There are 20 of you assholes there and only 4 on guard duty. Fix that poo poo!

I found a house that had 2 ghouls living there, from before the war. This isn't a bombed out abandoned home that someone was squatting in, it was there house. I was dropping their son off and all I kept thinking was "hey maybe sometime in the next 100 years you could get around to picking those broken bricks and wooden planks off your god drat floor!" Sadly HATE RUBBLE wasn't an option.

Is the mod that fixes the dialog box still safe to use? I am tired of constantly redoing the same five hours of quests because Armor Slots and later on the Settlement Expansion mods were both lovely ones that corrupt. Which sucks since the later never worked in my game, but since I never turn it off, I had to go back to the same old save AGAIN.

Yeah, any mod that doesn't have an .esp is safe as it just tells the game to use that file instead of the one in the BA2 archive.

I managed to do it on some New Vegas outfits ages ago, although that depended on getting lucky with how the mesh was put together.

It occurs to me that wounding shotguns probably also do their dot per pellet, so they're probably even more broken than automatics

Is there a mod yet that simplifies or changes energy weapon ammo yet? It's really dumb that laser/plasma/cryo weapons use different ammo, when they are supposed to be "energy" weapons.

I'm mostly just pissed my plasma thrower goes through rare plasma ammo so god drat fast when I'm drowning in energy cells.

Well, yes and no. Based on my experiences with Nifskope back in the day, sometimes it's actually quite easy, while other times different bits are linked in a seemingly irrational fashion. Won't know until you try.

All I want is a mod that adds a way to see at a glance what if anything a settler has been assigned to work on. I tried using the console to spawn different hats to put on my settlers but it caused some weird instability.

This allows you to use batch files to name your settlers to a range of preset strings.

Both look like they're made with falloutsnip so who knows if they're safe.

So can someone explain to me how to launch Fallout 4 in a borderless window, using simple words an idiot can understand? See Fallout 4 doesn't support my monitor's resolution by default unlike every other Bethesda game. I know there's a way to get it to launch in a window at my resolution anyways, but it involves editing the ini files and what I've tried hasn't worked.

Open the launcher, go to options, tick the windowed and borderless buttons.

It feels like there should be more weapons that use .50 in this game, especially something semi/automatic. Level 4 Scrounger gives you more .50 ammo than you can realistically use and it seems really odd.

Pretty sure one of the pipe weapons can use it? But yeah you end up with a fair amount.
