they should have put a female lighting port on the top of the pencil since it has no eraser functionality anyway

then you could just charge it off any lightning cable

and sell some stupid male-male lightning nib that goes into the pencil nicely for the edge case of people wanting to charge the pencil ~*on the go*~ straight outta their ipad's port

they should've put an eraser on the top and a male lightning that pops out of the side so it could be plugged in either for charging or just to be held on the bottom of the ipad when not in use, and no cap to lose

the best solution is obviously wireless charging built right into the cover, or an ugly rear end lightning dongle that people won't actually use and would buy the cover instead.
