A lot of rich white dudes tried to incorporate some kind of asian influence into their style at some point or other since the 70s or 80s, but as far as I know Trump's schtick has always been 100% homegrown American kitsch, very proud and very obscene. We're getting away from the tower now, since I guess it could just as easily remind people of western fantasy. But it looks pretty loving anime to me.
