That's a mouthguard, a piece of molded rubber people keep in their mouths when doing high-impact sports like boxing so that hits to the face don't end up breaking teeth. Dude just opened his mouth, so the guard wasn't being held in by his jaws, and then gets popped so the guard flies out.

Is it a known fighting tactic to stand still with your arms sticking out to the side while you wait for the other guy to belt you square in the face? I realize I have zero context here other than "fighting sports" but that seems like a bad defense against someone trying to hit you.

Taunting is a real mental strategy that can work if you're trying to demoralize an opponent that has fatigued or is being inaccurate, so that you can exploit an opening in their attack. This man's opponent did not appear either fatigued or inaccurate.

I have no idea what the point of that gif is supposed to be. I assume it's some kind of fetish.

Does anybody not peel the plastic off? I thought the point of the plastic was to protect from scratches in-transit, not to stay on forever to keep fingerprints off.

I've seen people leave the heavy gauge on that sometimes came on the outside of a laptop's lid, until it had little crumbs and hairs trapped underneath it. It was pretty impressively gross. edit: oops, thought I was in the PYF purchases thread. Oddhair has a new favorite as of 19:21 on Dec 16, 2015 |

I leave it on purposefully for a while, but remove it once it gets noticeably dirty. There's just something satisfying about having a device that looks brand new after nearly a year by simply peeling.
