I don't follow this thread at all so I apologize if somehow everyone already knows about this.... Have you guys heard of PokeMMO? Someone basically took Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon Emerald and made an MMO out of it. When I first saw it, I was very skeptical. However, I've been playing it for a couple of days now and I can confidently say that this game loving owns. It's exactly like the gameboy games except you get to make your own little avatar and you can see everyone else's avatar running around, and you can challenge whoever you want to a battle at any time. All the features are there. Even breeding! There's even a robust economy involving the sale and trade of pokemon. I think it has something like 386 pokemon currently? If you have nostalgia for 1st and 2nd gen in particular, then this game is practically made for you. https://pokemmo.eu/ The trailer on the main page is in no way misleading. It does everything it claims to do, and very very well.

Gen 5 has the best music and does the most cool things with it like the changing music mid battle/When you're low/get the gym leader down to their last pokemon, the weather based music changes, and all the musician trainers.

Don't forget that one town where you could change the background music by going around and convincing different people to start playing instruments. Why did they take out those musical cues in gen 6? The low health music is so much better than the plain beeping sound.

It also played if ANY member of your team was at red HP, so if you played Triples or Rotation (or maybe even Doubles), you'd probably hear more of that theme than the actual battle theme. If it was in Gen 6 and it started playing over, for example, Zinnia's battle theme, I'm sure several people here would be upset. Eh I got kinda burnt when playing it last time, it had massive lag issues, the animations, even walking, were choppy as hell and there were a lot of bugs (not bug-types  ). But maybe if the finished at least one map, I'll give it another shot.

I didn't think her light and airy theme really held up well compared to the sinister high tempo martial themes they used in earlier generations, though given she's such a pushover I guess it is thematically appropriate

Maybe in the next game to get a Pokemon World Torunament will make her somewhat more of a challenge. ...is it bad I'd pay for a separate 3DS game that lets me participate in just the PWT? I can't be the only one who thought it was great fun.

You could probably do what I did and switch your router settings to be open and set the SSID to "McDonalds Free WiFi" (without the quotation marks) and get your hoopa that way
