Splatoon for sure. It sold me a system that I've yet to get anything else for, and was pretty much the only game I played throughout the summer. Since they're allowed, Atelier Ayesha and Valkyria Chronicles certainly make the list. Pretty much every other game I played either wasn't new to me this year or failed to really grab me. My real goty list is a list of board games.

I put a lot of time into a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is what I generally recall. I probably would have played Story of Seasons more but my friend badgered me into MH4 for co-op. Also put a lot of time kicking dudes in Way of the Samurai 4 with Samurai champloo music modded in.

I was up til 5 in the morning drawing so I slept all day. GOTY's are probably Caves of Qud and Crimzon Clover. In my defense the only current game I played this year was Fallout and that was eh. The nomination for game I need to play way more of goes to Reflex.
