dammit, beating croixleur sigma as the tomboy is a bit harder. i was able to do it pretty easily with lucrezia, but in order to get to the real final boss you've gotta beat the story mode in less than ten minutes and fran's magic is a lot harder to get a good handle on for fighting scattered enemies

I was worried it was gonna end in some incomplete manner since it was a novel series, but for the most part it was basically self-contained which was good.

I didn't know it was adapting a series until after I finished watching it, and was a bit disappointed as a result. It greatly expands on the first novel though, there's some new live-action TV series that's spending only about four episodes on each novel. Scryed is a series about two rivals who really want to beat the poo poo out of each other, and some other stuff happens I guess.

I can't hate on GBA cause I wasted a lot of time playing Duel Academy or whichever one it is where you go to school in GX. I pretty much built a deck full of high defense monsters + the field spell that raised defense by 500 and then had my opponent kill themselves by smacking into monsters I set faced down repeatedly. Since the AI won't attack a monster they know they can't destroy I also packed 5* and 6* monsters with high defense so I could get more mileage out of monsters that had already been revealed. It was fun.

The guy who played Cyber Dragon was my worst enemy cause the highest defense for a 4* card was like 2000 back then and if I didn't have my field up he would relentlessly own me.
