Dumb question - can fed aligned rommies wear the vaadwaur officer's uniform stuff? Not aligned yet and tried to redeem one I had in my account bank but got shouted at by the game and it wouldn't let me.

Most outfits from the lobi store (like the Vaadwaur Uniform) can be worn by any faction. I still remember when those whips came out and the ground death combo was to stun someone with a whip and swap to your cryo pulsewave and shotgun them to death in the face until killed. Also the cryptic giveaway is absolutely pathetic. "Please embarrass yourself in public by retweeting us so that your entire social circle knows you play STO. We'll give you some lovely obsolete pixels we can't even sell except to ERPists of which you are probably one if you do."

Yeah general rule is use the wiki but ask in the chat if poo poo is outdated before you spend actual resources on a build just in case.

Although the wiki is outdated a lot of the stuff there is still perfectly workable and will outdeeps the vast majority of pubs. Of course most shuttles will also manage this so that's not saying much.

Saint Olivia is the one that tried to popularize the term "trollgate", sent letters to the CEO of Cryptic and allegedly harassed members of the dev team on Twitter so they ended up blocked. I revisited their website and it seems like if you click on Olivia's handle in the comments section, you're taken to a blog with the tagline "games for adults" filled with pornography. Not sure if that's a new thing, but there you go.
