What's a good non-stick wok and skillet/pan? Or trustable brand?

I'm leaning toward getting a cast iron skillet. This is for home use, so I don't need either to be huge, but I'd like them to be high-quality and last awhile. We're currently about done wearing out a $40 T-Fal 12" non-stick from Target.

Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 WATER monster you control (except this card) to Special Summon 1 WATER monster from your hand. The monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed if "Raging Eria" is removed from your side of the field.
People will generally recommend Lodge for cast iron. It's nice, pre-seasoned, but probably a little expensive (you could find and reseason something from a garage sale and have it work just as well). Amazon isn't the best place to get them, but you can find them all over the place (my Fred Meyers have them, when otherwise their appliances/pans/knives are all poo poo and overpriced).
For a wok, I haven't been able to find a "recommended" brand, for some reason. It's not like All-Clad for pans. I got this thing and it's worked fine. It's gotten a stain on it (ha), but it cooks well enough. Don't get nonstick. Do get carbon steel if you can find one that looks nice. There's a "Joyce Chen" one on Amazon that's got a weird design and I hate the handle/grip, but you might be able to find a nice carbon steel wok at some brick and mortar store.

e: Rereading your question, you want a non-stick wok? I'd strongly suggest against getting one. A non-stick skillet can make sense, but for a wok you really don't want to use non-stick. Carbon steel is fairly easy to clean and you actually want food to be able to cling to the sides while you're cooking.

For the pan, buy an all clad. Look at TJ Max, Marshals, Coles, Homegood, etc. They will often have insane deals on All Clad stuff. Don't bother with the more expensive stainless line, the normal stuff is fine and any discoloration can be cleaned. Cast iron, just get a Lodge, unless you want to hunt around for a old Wanger or Griswald. Most antique stores have a few.

For a wok, just go to an Asian grocery and buy a carbon steel one. It's very likely that your range will not get hot enough real wok cooking so don't sweat it too much.

$25 shipped from Amazon for a 12" Lodge skillet. Cheaper than almost any other cookware.

If you want something wok-like with a flat bottom you might like a DeBuyer country skillet: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00462QP2K/ref=twister_B004V2E2QQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

These are actually expensive but worth it.

I'm looking for a good blanket. I want one that's soft and comfortable, maybe faux fur or something. It doesn't have to do a super good job of keeping me warm, since even at this time of year I never really get that cold at night. Any suggestions?

If you like wool (and some people don't, as the find it scratchy), I highly recommend Pendleton. Their eco-wool line is a little more affordable too. Very thin and breathable, yet also warm.

If you want warm get a Hudson Bay wool blanket. There's a reason they have been in business since the 1700s.

Oh you said you don't give a poo poo if it's warm. Well never mind.

I need a better blender. I started adding oats to my workout smoothie and my 20$ Osterizer isn't doing it without being extremely loud for 4 minutes on the highest setting. I know it won't be quiet, but I do live in an apartment and sometimes blend things late at night, so it can't be as loud as a jet engine.

I'd like to not spend much more than 100. Any suggestions?

Check the front page daily and search the forums for 55" and then check that rtings.com site for latency and Amazon reviews. Also search Amazon reviews for keywords like "gaming" or "ps4" if there's a ton.

I just got myself a pair of these and have been liking them so far. The touch screen part works really well on my note 4, and doesn't have a big obvious finger pad like some of the other touchscreen gloves I've used before. They're fairly thin, so not that good for really cold days, but they're fine for weather down to the low 20s I've found - and when it does get colder they're thin enough to be worn as glove liners without issue under heavier gloves.

Recommendation for a waterproof mattress cover / encasement?

I'm getting a new mattress and am looking to increase its longevity as much as possible. Only hazards are mainly sex fluids, coconut oil, and if it starts to collect dust / etc (no bedbug issues) over time. I'm not certain if I want an encasement or just a cover.

It's a latex mattress, if it makes a difference.

All wool, won't make you sweaty, good for cold around freezing, okay for wind, not great. Bonus advantage of being able to be used as a liner for a heavier glove.

Anyone know a decent brand of dog booties?

My dog is small, short-haired, and originally from the south. I think this is his first real New England winter and the past couple days he is NOT happy when he has to go out. He has a little coast, but I'm sure his feet are getting FREEZING. Last night he peed, and he looked like he was going to poo, but then walked back over to us, stood perfectly still, and started whining like I never heard him do before. :( He didn't even want to walk back the few steps to go back inside, my GF had to pick him up and carry him in.

And even on warmer days, I want to be able to walk him without worrying too much about the salt and sand irritating his feet.

I just moved into a new house and it is devoid of a pantry and after unpacking the kitchen boxes I don't have a leftover cabinet for food so I need to buy a free standing pantry, but where I live only has one furniture store with questionable quality pieces. We rent so getting one permanently installed is out of the question.

I am looking for a freestanding pantry/food storage furniture that is:
  • not a piece of poo poo (i.e. can withstand being moved to a new house in the future possibly multiple times)
  • preferably preassembled and if not can be assembled by one person
  • not IKEA (I love IKEA furniture but the closest one is a 3 hour drive away from me)
  • not horrifically expensive (under ~$600)

I didn't see anyone else address this. I am not sure of your kitchen decor, but I had a baker's rack like this in our last place. I found that one for $250, but you could find fancier ones for a little more that come with wicker accents and stuff. I personally liked the more industrial look. It also gives you a bit more counter space and doubles as a cute party buffet for parties.

I'm looking for a good electric razor. I am lazy and hate shaving with a real blade, and I have quite thick hair. I get razor burn on my neck easily. Sub $100 is good, washable with water is good. I don't care about charge time as I can use it while plugged in. Reading Amazon reviews makes it seem like the Norelco 2100 is a good bet and that spending more doesn't really get you a better razor a lot of the time.

My printer doesn't seem to get along with Windows 10 – it's several years old and I've long since lost the driver software – and now it has stopped printing anything with black ink as of yesterday. So it looks like I need a new printer.

BITTER POOR PERSON
Go-to goon suggestions for printers are usually a Brother monochrome laser printer for black & white, and if you need color some kind of cheap inkjet.

I've had a HL-2240D for about five years now, its about as basic as laser printers get (only thing it does that isn't single sheet printing is duplexing), picked it up for $80 on sale at Microcenter and I haven't even run out of the trial size toner cartridge it shipped with.

Brother's color laser printers are fine too, but unless you're frequently running a lot of color prints color laser printers aren't terribly cost effective.

I'm 99.9% sure this is asking for waterproof water, but is there anything out there for people who sleep in noisy places but have tinnitus?

And a white noise generator just annoys the wife.
