So apparently I still have 400 of the Forcibly Retired Currency Widgets� from last years Anniversary event. Are they still going to be usable in a few days or are they only good for crap in the buyback store ?

I can't find the exact blog, but I believe that yes they did say it would be possible to use this year's anniversary currency to fill any legacy anniversary ship projects still open from the last 2 years. They will apparently disappear after the event if not filled though.

For the last two years, you have needed to earn 1000 Anniversary Tokens to unlock the ship. This basically entails:

1) Doing the upcoming featured episode for the first time on a char should give you 400 free Anniversary Tokens.

2) Doing the Omega daily minigame during the event should give 40 tokens each day. This takes about 5-10mins each day for 15 days. This minigame also gives out Omega shards - which are used to craft very good upgrade kits.

You now only need to do the above on a single char to unlock the ship as a free claim on all your chars.

I wonder if it checks the costume type for formal attire or just gives you a premade outfit, and last I checked the formal outfits still cost Zen so either they're giving everyone some new default formal outfit or making the ones in the Z-store free.

I think any social item from hereon in is going to be incredibly disappointing, considering what we had two years ago. After the year 4 horn, we had the nullifier, the horrible year five horn, the nerf to snowballs, etc. Social items are going to be pretty bland, because the Devs are basically pubbies. Any fun to be had will be unintentional and will probably be patched fairly quickly.

Edit: Another "Why do men make women toons" thread sprung up and was swatted down almost instantly, but not before the usual suspects came and made it creepy.

I have a Caitian and Ferasan female, never see anything wrong with them or other males making female toons. Also for me it's just a extension of my furry art work, to see all of my Anthro creations walking around, interacting and blowing stuff up. Others it's something different or modeled after a character from a TV show, for the hell of it, etc.

Was hard enough making my main, a Gorn, look kinda like me....kinda, but close enough.

But nothing wrong with it. Nothing at all. =3

It's a bad time to find other goons on, the holiday event just ended and the anniversary event hasn't started yet, so none of us are playing. There should be a few on once the anniversary starts on Thursday.

As for your ship, odds are that you're flying a T5 ship with mk XII equipment, when everything is currently tuned for a T6 ship with mk XIV equipment. You can get by without a T6 ship, but upgrading your equipment will help a lot.
