Concerned Citizen posted:Bernie is outperforming in rural Iowa. He swept most of SW Iowa except for Mills and Cass (at least so far). He won Sioux City and much of NW Iowa. But the three big Bernie areas - Story, Johnson, and Black Hawk - are letting Hillary run way too close. This is giving Hillary the win. The students are not turning out at a sufficient rate. Yeah it's quite funny that they are over performing in areas they aren't supposed to.

What do Iowa and Atlantic City, NJ have in common? Trump went bankrupt in both places. What a sad, sad loser, Donald Trump. A loser, with a fanbase of losers.

Who cares who wins on the GOP side lol. Either way Cruz or Trump look loving dumb, and right now it is Trump for the first time. It's a shame Rubio did well tho the narrative for him will be strong in the media for the next few days.

rubio and trump are pretty likely to round to the same number of delegates at this point, but the fact that everybody's panting after those last thousand votes goes to show that the delegate match is about 1% of the relevance of iowa. it's all about, as cnn just said, 'bragging rights' which is why this is bad for trump. now that Actual Voting Results exist that indicate he might actually not be as good at politicianing as the politicians he has a tougher argument to make

foobardog posted:If the superdelegate counts were even, this would be a win for Sanders, who would be punching way above his weight. But with Clinton's big lead in superdelegates, and tying Clinton in Iowa, he's not getting enough delegate space over Clinton right now to win. This is like trying to calculate national GDP based on how many hot dogs Grey's Papaya sold on January 1st.
