It's actually a banjo technique strangely enough, you can buy these tuners that you lock at two different notes so it stays in tune when you turn them back and forth. e: a banjo player was famous for doing it by ear though. My favorite part is him just scraping the gently caress out of the guitar.

Why does it seem like no millennials actually look like adults? Looking at this thread and cruising mutual friends facebook friends list and creeping on people i went to high school and college with even the people nearing 30 look like baby faced 14 years olds dressing up in their dad's clothes, with bad awkward facial hair and all. most of the men are really short and chubby too. Is our entire generation THAT infantilized? When i look at pictures of 20-30 year olds from past generations they all look much older and more mature. I think it has something to do with lower levels of testosterone. Probably caused by chemtrails or something.

More coddling than before. A lot of us think the surge in beards is a subconscious way of saying "Despite being a soft Doughboy who got an extension on their childhood, I AM a man, technically. "

" Nah, beard is a dumb cyclical fashion trend like everything else. When Obamacare made the rule that parents have to cover children until they are 25 I knew there was no hope. Literally nobody in the country expects you to have any basic life skills or employment until you are 25 years of age.

You may've found yourself on occasion thinking, "Wow, that 40 year old has good cardiovascular health. And is spry." No, that's wrong. You're looking at a 28 year old who works for a living. That is what they look like. You've simply forgotten. Accretionist fucked around with this message at 14:04 on Feb 11, 2016 |

Accretionist posted:You're mistaking all the manly ones for 40 year olds is the thing. This is correct. 30-40 yr olds a generation ago, had more responsibilities, had children younger (that will really age you), smoked, and had lovely diets. If you get sent to some rice paddy in SE Asia or storm some beach in Europe and live, you're not going to be trifling wth some onesie party when you get back. They looked older because life demanded them to be adults when they became adults and they carried themselves accordingly. Automatic Slim fucked around with this message at 15:45 on Feb 11, 2016 |
