Thanks. I like my iPhone 6 and I don't think it's too big, but I can reach all corners of the screen with my thumb. If it was any bigger I'd hate it. iTunes was good when it was better than Windows Media Player but then they started doing stuff like patching it every day and when it patched, it'd overwrite my settings which meant when I plugged my iPod in to charge, it would format the iPod and not sync anything to it even though I turned that setting off. Which dipshit at Apple though it was a good idea to even have that as an option back when the biggest non-huge-iPod was like 16GB and most people had huge, huge libraries that it couldn't possibly fit Larry Parrish fucked around with this message at 08:32 on Feb 10, 2016 |

http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/technology/2016/01/apple_may_have_peaked_in_2015_gulp.html So, how close did Apple come to not setting all-time records in the most recent quarter? This close: Its revenues and profits surpassed the highs set in the same quarter last year by roughly 2 percent each. This after a five-year span over which Q1 revenues had exploded fivefold, including a 30 percent jump between 2014 and 2015. So, while the company’s revenues are still growing, that growth just screeched to a near halt. gently caress you timb

not only does apple officially suggest using screen protectors on their phones now, they have a totally separate 3rd party with their own branding and equipment performing the installation of screen protectors in apple stores. lmao.

theultimo posted:http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/technology/2016/01/apple_may_have_peaked_in_2015_gulp.html I don't really like Apple but I gotta say; so what? They're the biggest company in the world, growth can't just continue like that forever. They're not only the biggest, they're also the most profitable company in the world. I think they're starting to slip too but if Apple falls it's going to be 10-15 years from now (at least). They've got poo poo tons of capital to work with in the meantime. That article is kinda 'tech people chime in with their business/finance thoughts.'
