I can't tell if I like "Rubiomentum" or "Rubementum" versus "Marcomentum" because the latter always looks like "Macromentum" which sounds vaguely scientific.

I'm hoping the robot gets stomped purely because he is still the best chance the Republicans have at the Presidency. Make it harder for him :getin:

Honestly cheering for Donald Trump over Cruz/Rubio because Trump lets a few progressive ideas slip out of his mouth here and there, and maybe he'll support what objectively works best for America and stop pandering entirely to morons once elected.

what's the sample size on these 'preliminary' exit polls?

whatever, if the narrative these polls are spinning is accurate trump will be declared the winner like 20 minutes after polls close

right, so the same republican obstructionism and inability to fulfill campaign promises that obama faced and the next democratic president will also face would be attributed to 'being a clinton' if clinton wins and 'being a socialist' if sanders wins

which supports my argument, that socialism in 2020 would have better prospects for the future if clinton had been the president for four years than if sanders did

if sanders could get some progressive/socialist policy through in those four years that clinton wouldn't have done, it would be worth it, probably. i think congress will prevent that, i'm pessimistic like that

Personally I'd rather not play weird long games based on 50 million assumptions and just elect the candidate I want.

trump would literally be less than a clusterfuck than cruz, which in and of itself is horrific

among other things trump would probably nominate, like, his sister to the supreme court or whatever, maybe hillary, he'll put his friends in there, statistically probably better than any mainline republican selections

Moralists don't really *have* beliefs. Sometimes they stumble on one, like on a child's toy left on the carpet. The toy must be put away immediately. And the child reprimanded.

What's funny is if one was to run a insurgent campaign on the republican side as a liberal it would pretty much look like Trumps campaign. Overt red-meat for the regressives with left-wing dogwhistles like taking care of poor people wrt healthcare.

Compared to Trump who has said a million things over the last several months which has antagonized numerous voter groups and cannot easily take back, and Cruz who is literally a slime man who would sacrifice his own daughter if it brought him a few more electoral votes, Rubio is the best.

He's a store-brand clearance sale Obama with not 0% appeal to Hispanic voters. He's literally the best they have.

Seriously though, they're incredibly similar on trade, on H1B visas, they both actually have a plan to deal with illegal immigration, they both want to legalize marijuana at the federal level, both pro-gay and abortion wrt the supreme court, investment programs in infrastructure to provide jobs and make our roads/bridges not lovely and they're the only two candidates not owned by donors and special interests.

The final results are in from Nevada and it looks like we’re going to leave another state with roughly the same number of delegates as Hillary Clinton, maybe down just a few.

I want to be completely clear with you about what this result means: Nevada was supposed to be a state "tailor made" for the Clinton campaign, and a place she once led by almost 40 points. But today, we sent a message that will stun the political and financial establishment of this country: our campaign can win anywhere.

There are 26 primaries and caucuses in the next month, and three straight positive results for our campaign are sure to prompt an over-the-top response from the millionaires and billionaires who are funding our opponent and her many super PACs.

We have to be prepared for their best shot, because it’s coming

Trump is dominating Republican primary voters, aka a subsection of a subsection of the general election population. A good result in a population that is somehow compromised of like 10% "whites are the superior race" voters is not indicative of the rest of America :psyduck:
