You know, our theme – what’s our theme? You know it, right? Right? Our theme, which I love may be the greatest theme of all time, right? And the word again is eventually going to come off. We’re going to get rid of the whole theme because what’s going to happen – make America great again. Right? And the last two weeks because I’ve gotten to see so many, I guess, millions when you add them all up with all of these forums and message boards and all of these speeches and I’ve met so many people. But the people are so incredible that I’ve been saying make America great again and it’s going to be greater than ever before. That’s the kind of potential that we have – greater than ever before.

I don't think he has the political understanding or even interest to actually govern. I imagine he'd delegate everything and continue his life very similarly to how he lives it now. I think the real question becomes, what kind of people is Trump going to bring in as advisors, cabinet members, and executive officials? Is he going to haul in a bunch of lawyers and executives and cronies from The Trump Organization LLC? (probably yeah) Then how do these people govern? I think the practical reality would be a Presidential Hydra of Romney-clone corporate types operating under the auspices of the Trump figurehead. Ironically I think Trump would lead to a decrease in the power of the executive branch, as congress attempts to govern around him.

A Trump presidency would most likely be a lot of bluster, constant uproar from the chattering class and feuds with foreign leaders, and lots and lots of cool photo-ops. The underlying policy changes would likely be minor and confined to advisor-driven wonkish bullshit. It would honestly surprise me if his presidency were to do any real harm.

Probably not terribly different from other republicans outside of a few random gaffes. I mean yeah THE WALL would be a big, dumb waste of ten billion dollars and have little to no impact on illegal immigration but it's not like the Iraq War wasn't more expensive/useless so So yeah pretty much just GWB again

It's basically just rambling, he says he isn't a war hero, and he definitely says at one point "He’s a war hero because he was captured.* I like people that weren’t captured." Then he says he is a war hero, "I believe, perhaps". Pretty sure the "weren't captured" thing is a joke referencing that he was just talking about how he doesn't like losers (like McCain). Anyway he's not really making any kind of point, he was really just defending previous Twitter attacks on McCain. *some transcripts put a question mark here but he doesn't say it like a rhetorical question and i think that kinda biases the reading of it
