Patch is for the infinite respawns on certain Perandus Chests. There is one type that will keep spawning defender guys until the zone crashes. I decided to play HC this season and my friend and I encountered one of these bugged chests in A1. It's a highly recommended way to get your stress levels calibrated.  Otherwise, the orb of storms leveling is far and away the fastest leveling experience I have ever encountered in my extensive time with this game.

I can't get back in game because it says I need to download the patch, and then if I restart the game Steam says its updating but apparently doesn't do anything... gently caress, do I need to verify file integrity for this poo poo?

Why is PoE always such a loving nightmare to patch through Steam for me? Smite and Tribes Ascend were the only other games that gave me this much poo poo through Steam. That 5mb patch earlier took 15 minutes to download and install, and I've been sitting on "preallocating" on this one for 10 minutes. The drive Steam is on has already been error checked and defragged and has like 50gb free.
