No they aren't. Saitek is the worst poo poo. There's a serious run on 10 year old CH designs and most Thrustmaster models from 2 gens back have actually gained value. The only reason people accept Saitek is it's just more available, they aren't reliable at all and there's been constant issues since the Madcatz initial buyout (the late run 52s had a huge drop in quality)

I was texting with a pilot buddy of mine who punched the same year I did as a major. He asks how's poo poo with me, I tell him about my dope week and all he can say is, "that's great! You're still enlisted and therefore a lower class of life."

I was married in a smallish apartment and the then wife was a oval office about letting a man leave his toys out.

Also I didn't have a chair that wasn't bar height for the kitchen table. Was a couch only household.

There was more to it than just games and weed. Huge gaps in personality and drastic changes making those gaps wider. She wanted to stay close to her parents and just had to live in the loving suburbs. But, she's still a good woman, for someone else. Loves her job, has a strong family to fall back on, and plenty of sense, even lost half that 300 pounds. She'll find someone, or get knocked up and adopt cats to father the child. Either way, she's behind me now and we're both better off for it.

I've practically been itching to get out west for years now, well back into my married days, I just wanted to move to Colorado and find a nice small town to live 10 miles away from for the rest of my days. Now I'm leaving in about three weeks. Going to abuse the government nipple to get housing so I can catch up on my bills, finish school and try to get a job loving off in the woods for 20 years.

Progress, man. Finally going to make some.

Right on, brother! I lived in Colorado Springs from 4th-8th grade and totally took it for granted. My wife and I spent a week out in the mountains a couple hours west of Denver in 2014 and it was the best week of my life. Sick mountains everywhere, great hiking trails, and super peaceful. We're hoping to relocate out that way in the next few years or so.

You air forcies sometimes-kinda use first names while active, right?

Kinda lowers the impact of a post-separation "suck my dick, Brian" or whatever his name is, but still.

On TDY's and away from the squadron yea. Aircrew, and especially flight deck, tend to see one another by crew positions rather than rank. There's a risk some lowly E-4 might be intimidated to say something if the aircraft commander is a major, so relationships are much more chill. Even coming from medical there was a stark difference.

If you didn't call him Brian before, it'll still have an effect. It's pretty rare for first-names between officer and enlisted, even in squadrons where it's pretty casual. Callsigns are probably more common, but still not something I saw very often.
