I wonder if Ubisoft has the stats on which heads people picked for their character. I noticed, playing coop, that both my friend and I have the same face on our PC's (his has a beard, though). I started looking around the safehouse I was in, and I swear 90% of the player base is using the one that looks like agent 47.

gently caress, in the excitement of me extracting a backpack full of Superior and High End gear, I completely overlooked how High End gear requires phoenix credits to recalibrate its stats. I'm down 30, and wasn't exactly swimming in them to begin with.  Nonetheless I can now solo DZ2 and only struggle in DZ3 if a full group of golds (uniques?) attacks me at the same time. My Vector has a pretty small cli size, 36, but reliably hits for about 10k per bullet and doesn't have much in the way of recoil (even if its horizontal stability leaves something to be desired). Mostly I prowl the subway tunnels as not a lot of people seem to rummage around down there.

I have over 100% scavenging thanks to recalibrating my kneepads though, so that helps. I extracted three full backpacks of purples in one run.

Last Man Battalion doesn't really seem all that bad, just a bunch of war vets who were rushed into a hell-hole to protect some people that left them. Unlike the rear end in a top hat JTF who fled the city and let it fall into shambles, then hooked up with the Division where half the agents are rogues and the other half will shoot innocents for fashion.

Some are OK. Some of them even seem unaware of what the other poo poo-heads are doing. But alot of them actively gently caress poo poo up, like one encounter where they ask a JTF guy what a group of prisoners is being held for. The JTF guy tells em just looting and minor offenses. The LBM dude prompty primes a grenade and puts it in their cell, killing em all to the JTF dude's horror. I like what they did with the First Wave guys story-wise. They didnt just go evil suddenly, they almost all to a man fought and tried to protect the city but without any external support, they couldnt do anything nor evacuate innocents. It sort of makes sense that a few that survived had to go to extreme lengths, though that of course doesnt excuse alot of the later attrocities Aaron and his buddies commit. I'll only go political to say this because it's funny but how everyone acts in the game you think poo poo has been going down for years. Nope, only a couple of months if that. In the scope of how some people in the world have been living for centuries, we basically didn't get a cappuccino during our lunch break and just went Lord of the Flies onto the city.

I haven't run into the LMB yet, but so far it seems like the Cleaners, misguided as they may be, are the only faction besides the JTF/Division that are actually trying to fix the situation rather than taking advantage of it like the rioters and the Rikers. It's too bad that their idea of fixing it is to kill literally everyone with fire, but hey, at least they kind of have a cause. Obstacle2 posted:That's a dad cut? Well. I'm a dumbass. Started out hating it and admittedly it's grown on me even if I don't think it's perfect. I rented it and now I'm going on $15 for this rental. I'm kind of tempted to just go suck it up and buy it today though. Are you guys thinking it's something thats worth holding on to or is there nothing interesting to do once you have seen most of the content or is it just boring. I honestly can't tell if it's something I'm going to burn out on in 4 days (in which case I should probably just stick with the rental) or something I'll want to play for a while. I'm currently lvl 16.

The huge amount of trash piled kind of helps illustrate how absolutely vital public services are as well. Their removal and a chain-reaction of breakdowns that ensues seems logical and sad. A buddy says they got a little taste of this way back when the city bus drivers went on strike, and they had to instate some "You cant strike anymore ever because it grinds the city to a halt" clause or some poo poo in their new contract, though he may be exaggerating.
