People like to post long lists of bnb combos for characters, but as a complete beginner, how does one work on introducing that into gameplay? Lots of training mode? If so, which ones do people tend to work on first?

And also learn a punish ie something you do when you block something unsafe like an uppercut usually starting with a heavy. Do them in training mode until you can do them and also do them in games with people until you can do them there because its not the same

Identify which normals your character tends to use to cancel into special attacks, and in matches try and get a feel for how to use those normals against another person. When you feel comfortable using those normals against another player in realtime you'll be able to actually followup with the combos they lead into more naturally, rather than focusing on "using the combo" in a match. New players often get stuck in the trap of seeing a combo online, drilling it in training mode, and focusing solely on doing the combo in a match rather than having it occur naturally from your accurate usage of normals. Practice your combos in training mode for sure, but don't put too much undue focus on them. You'll find yourself performing them naturally when the moment strikes if you keep your focus on spacing yourself, blocking when appropriate, and familiarizing yourself with your character's normals.

Maaaan, Cammy's stand RH is so garbage. I can only ever use it as a crush counter when I block a DP. I wish she had her old roundhouse back. That, or cr.HP gave a crush counter.

I've been focusing on my anti airs recently. Reacting to certain attacks is pretty hard but it's satisfying to send people flying away like a maniac rag doll when you land one.

I don't do v-trigger and super in the same combo though as iirc it's a waste of meter due to scaling. What's nice about Cammy is that if you confirm into v-trigger then do a spiral arrow into DP she practically has 2 separate super meters.

Beaten, but FWIW Necalli's standing MP is a really good confirm to use (and you see a lot of the better players using it) because you can link it into cr.MP and cancel into LP Dash to push an opponent into the corner, or cancel immediately into LK Stomp (which can be canceled into Super).
