I got put in a group with a Chinese guy that was apparently sitting next to his wife who was watching Chinese soap operas, it was hilarious. I didnt realize their match making was global, I figured it would be regional like R6 Siege.

Thanks guys for the advice. So I think I'm now getting memory leaks playing The Division. I'm not sure if this is meant to be a ton of memory for the game to use as I never really monitored it when it's working normally.  But at this point the game was freezing for a couple seconds every other second. Until I quit out. Has there been any luck on fixing it or am I screwed until Ubisoft deems me worthy of the dev time? I didn't have this problem whatsoever during the beta. Just makes it feel like I'm being punished for not getting this on ps4. Edit: There doesn't seem to be a single response from Ubisoft. And the only things I can find are people saying they just lowered all their graphics settings to minimum, and seems to have a 50/50 chance of either fixing it or just letting you play an extra 45 minutes before the memory leak gets so bad it crashes. I have yet to see any item on any quality with the 3 stats, but I know they exist from screenshots, but some people will have or already 120K on dps and 100K on health, making them some formidable noob killing machine. ...The current period of pvp peace is a illusion, a warmup period before total chaos. I don't know if the destination will be fun, but going there will be fun.

Ran Russian Consulate last night with 3 other dudes, all were undergeared but we did the Support Station gimmick. Only took us 2 hours, with the 3 shotgun guys at the top of the stairs on the last encounter giving us a hell of a time.

I haven't experienced memory leaks in the Division, but when it's happened to me in the past it's usually come from some other program stealing focus. Disabling the Ubisoft overlay is often the first thing that gets recommended for these sorts of problems. I still get the black screen bug at least 1/4 times I load up the game, though.

I restarted the game and in the menu before I even select a character I went to change the settings and The Division was already taking 2,900MB of RAM and going upwards. Went all the way up to 3,500MB during loading then slowly went back down and it's hovering around 2,800MB. No news yet on if it's going to crash on me. Better not with my full DZ bag I need to extract. I set everything to low but might have to check again to see any effects I can turn completely off. Then reboot my PC because it seems like The Division isn't letting go of that RAM even when you close it.

Anyone else on PS4 noticing the audio bugs? I often hear weird little stutters that sound like the first 1/10 second of a voice sample that just cut out. It's kinda bad and extremely noticeable.

I actually think how rogue status works in the DZ is pretty perfect. The penalty is harsh enough that your average player isn't going to go rogue but still not stiff enough that the people who get entertainment from PvP wont group up and roll over pubbies. I get that people want PvP deathmatch but that's not what this is. Maybe in the future they'll have a wargame expansion with capture the flag and whatnot. If anything I think there should be a "safety's on" option that you can toggle to turn on/off friendly fire in the DZ. That way you don't have to worry about greifers who run in your line of sight to try and make you rogue. Though, its not a big deal as long as you're aware of your surroundings.

I have the Division maxed out, ultra settings and it uses something like 2GB ram at the most last time I checked. The audio cut issues happen to me randomly, but don't really seem to have a cause behind them that I can see. Usually it's cellphone recordings and echos that do it though. Hit level 20 last night and I guess gear from here on out must scale pretty ridiculously because I have a level 20 purple smg primary and it's modded pretty nicely and it's only around 13K dps, but absolutely rapes everything I've come in contact with. Also got a nice level 20 purple LMG with a 100 mag size that can tear through 4 or 5 level 19-20 guys in 1 clip. Made some of those protect the supply drop encounters pretty boring, mow every thing down before it even gets close and then stand there for a minute waiting for the timer to expire. Also, all my wings are at 9/10 already and I have several story missions to go on the other side of the map and it will probably take 1 mission per wing + an encounter or two to get the 1K creds I need to max, so playing slow and doing all encounters I run across seems to make it fairly easy to max wings out pre-lvl 30. I guess if I had focused mostly on side mission and story missions I'd probably be level 30 already in the same time, but I've probably spent more time just running around the streets and DZ than actual leveling

Friendly Fire being always active in the disease what makes it in intense and cool. The whole point is you should have to check fire against people you don't know and be very aware of them. The first thing I always do when acting as group lead is call out non-hostile agents and make sure that were checking fire Lanes.

I have 16GB and have left it running overnight (got sidetracked with stuff, then went out, then came home and went right to bed) with no ill effects. The freezing part seems like a possible GPU or CPU issue - have you checked to see if your stuff is overheating? In the Graphics options there's a slider called Extra Streaming Distance which was at the max and completely killing my FPS in areas until I turned it off. Also noticed a lot of HD activity until I dropped it down, so I'd check that and turn it down first to see if that fixes things.

Run the UN General Assembly mission on hard a few times, with matchmaking. People are farming it (because it has 3 bosses). Tool around in the DZ01-DZ03 area, play conservatively and don't expose yourself.

I noticed the latest windows 10 update caused something similar if you had an xbox one wireless controller adapter or controller plugged in...
