So... Necalli just vanished from my character select screen. Like, there is no character above FANG. And the game disconnected when an opponent picked Necalli. What in the actual gently caress is going on?

I had steam validate the game files. It re-downloaded one and the game seems fine now. Personally, I'm kind of impressed that the game just happily played with one less character until an opponent tried to pick it.

Also, how are we feeling now about Chun still being all alone at SS tier after final round? Seems like the Topanga guys were pretty good with their picks. Chun, Ryu, Cammy, Karin, Necalli all did quite well. Ryu was pwning people with that stubby rear end j.lk.They don't seem to rate Nash highly but he's obviously been getting results. No Sako or Nuki playing Chun, only Go1 and Momochi (who got dunked on). We'll get a bunch more data next weekend, too. Infiltration looked unstoppable, but people have to be studying the gently caress out of him right now. Also, hopefully Americans are working on incorporating that defensive OS into their games. I don't know about the combo drops, really. Most of Mago's drops were instant tenko stuff or missing orochi juggles. PR Rog's drops were mostly just super not coming out. IALL drops is mostly a directional input thing rather than a problem dealing with the 3f buffer, etc. The Japanese are probably used to the input lag as well, since none of them even play on PC. Re: the tournament, it was super cool to see Tokido's Ryu since I didn't know he actually made the switch from Sim. I had my doubts about this game being entertaining to watch as a spectator, but it was actually pretty fun to watch and lots of hype moments.

Lol yeah, it was pretty noticeable early on because my usual brain-dead SF4 offense of j.lk, cr.lk, cr.lp, SRK (now upgraded to j.lk, s.mp, s.mp/cr.hp xx whatever) was working so well. It really puts Ken's lovely j.lk to shame.

I don't really care about Alex outside of a new character is being released, and I suspect a lot of the Internet spin on Alex is from people who barely touched SF3 in the first place. I just want as many technical issues stomped out as possible.
