I just downloaded the January 91 mod on a lark and find that I will really be looking forward to converting it to '16. Mainly because the mod has a ton of companies but few, if any, set employees for said companies. (on a cursory glance, there is a company with exactly 1 employee) and I want to see how the new AI's more aggressive hiring policies pan out. And the mod surprisingly has SSW and a rookie Beau James. Not sure how I feel about that.

Excursions should be good for more than just Japan... if you're playing a small company pretty much anywhere, you can get some talent that way, or at least a rotating set of jobbers. drat it, I JUST BOUGHT the last game.

I just chased Undertaker on a bike down the ramp and around the arena as 2008-era CM Punk during the 2001 Royal Rumble. These games are worth their weight in entertainment value regardless of any objective quality.

I've got a 2k16 My Universe show where every Saturday we go back in time to 6:05 p.m. in the late 80s for kind of a greatest hits of NWA/JCP/WCW If anyone's seen some quality movesets, CAWs, arenas, or whatever, let me know. The wrestlers that my group made were a Cthulu themed Monster Heel named (creatively) "The Brute" another guy played a hardcore type wrestler a heel named "Irish Mike" with kind of a Roddy Piper gimmick. and then there was a face high flyer named "Holy Joe" with a religious themed gimmick and finally A face Veteran named Mickey Malone who had a weird Baseball themed gimmick. So if you have any interest in both pen and paper RPGs as well as wrestling, I would recommend this.

Speaking of Universe Mode whats going on in yours? At the moment I'm having a year of current era roster. Smackdown currently has Undertaker and Stardust feuding, in NXT Sami Zayn turned his back on the fans then formed a tag team with Kevin Owens and on Raw Dean Ambrose and Triple H are fighting for the title.

So, for 2k16 for the PC, I downloaded a pretty good Okada CAW. But I've noticed a problem, the bottom of his feet clip through the soles of his boots! Is there anyway to fix this? I tried giving him socks the same colour as his boots but it seems like they just don't render? It's really ugly and distracting.

Flair has held the title for 10 years and occasionally drops it to Sting or Stunning Steve. Meanwhile I simmed the WWF and Murphy has held onto the title for about 3 years.

But if it's too ugly for you, 2k16 should be OK, create a wrestler and arena will fill the void. Game play is very improved over recent years as well. It's biggest issue is being boring everywhere else. Universe is bland, Royal Rumbles are still a slog, in fact none of the gimmick matches are improved from previous years. I mean yes, where the game play improvements apply it will help, but boring ladder match mechanics, meter based rumbles and Cells that have invisible walls will still detract from the fun that could be had, and sometimes used to be had with older games.

That's because in the AKI WCW games, just tapping the analog stick a couple of times would automatically let you kick out of pins and break submissions. In the WWF ones, if you tried that, submissions and repeated moves like the repeating german would keep looping until you stopped messing with the stick. Another glitch in Revenge is that Jericho's Lion tamer is unable to be interrupted, guys can break out of it but it ignores stomps and stuff from third parties. He's got a lot of steam going on right now and I'm going to say gently caress it, if the game ends up coming out in October or something. I'm expecting the least smart move from Ryland on this one.
