I took piano lessons from my aunt in 5th and 6th grade and I suck balls at SIF and SS. Ergo, learning to play the piano actually makes you worse at this game.

The K-On rhythm game is a real punishment because the timing is definitely off and you can't adjust it. You end up having to mentally adjust yourself to hit the button slightly early and then it breaks your ability to play any other rhythm game until you put it back again.
