I drank a bunch and decided for some reason to see if I could finish up this old Grandia Xtreme file I hadn't played in like 10 years. This is the weirdest JRPG experience ever. Thank goodness I was close to the end because playing through a bit of the last dungeon reminded me why I stopped. The voice acting is tremendously over dramatic. probably more than the original grandia. Fortunately it seems that the main take away I had when I first started the playthrough is still true: Carmyne is over powered,.

So the actual development cycle for the FF15 product is like 3-4 years which is average for a modern game.

Even moreso if you use the trick where you lead off with a spell every single round, because then you have to sit through all the enemy attacks before you do anything Good for combos, boring to watch

also the only way they could figure out to make the final boss hard was to make you fight a bunch of things in a row so if you haven't gotten lucky enough to find the healing spell you die
