Trollfest is pretty good Balkan Party Metal. Sometimes they come out on stage dressed as romans, bumblebees, mad scientists and/or dinosaurs.

Yes.
I wish I could enjoy Trollfest. The music itself sounds really fun, but that vocal style is just hella abrasive to me and ruins the whole thing. :(

I would need to listen to more Alestorm to determine if it'd go into my rotation,(I'm doubting more than a couple songs would) but that one that was linked reminded me of Helloween, in ways.
It's lively, and they are having fun with it. At least it's not some grimdark darkgrim.
No one hardly makes just good metal anymore. It's all * assault you with noise* and BLARG BLARG GARG *gargles with gravel*" nonsense.

I can at least sort of dig bands like Wormed just because of how silly it is, but I will never understand how anyone can listen to bands like Pissgrave that are trying to emulate the sound of Satan having a bad bout of diarrhea

This is pretty much the core feature of Alestorm's music. They have a few songs that sound a bit more solemn (relatively speaking), but 95% of the time they're just raucous singalong fun. That specific song I posted was one of their bigger, more "epic" sounding songs. Just check out some of the related videos, they're really pretty consistent.

Mastery is excellent, but only on the borderline of metal. He's done a split with Skullflower and they're a lot closer to each other than Mastery is to most black metal, it's basically noise with a stylistic similarity to extreme metal. If you don't like noise, you probably won't like Mastery (or post-90s Skullflower). If you want to see what the guy behind Mastery does in terms of actual metal, listen to Pale Chalice.

Hey. I've gotten into grindcore a lot lately, bands like Cattle Decapitation, Pig Destroyer, Napalm Death, Discordance Axis, Gridlink, and Terrorizer. Any recommendations for stuff like that? I have a preference for more of the higher pitched screeches then growls and would say Discordance Axis, Gridlink, and Pig Destroyer are my favorite of the bands I've encountered so far.
