The one spoiler I've read that I am actually willing to believe to any extent is: Rhodey ends up in a coma, and Steve dies after being sniped by Crossbones, on the way to prison/his trial for beating Zemo nearly to death.

So, he should've starred in that film even though it sucked and then do it his own way several years later?

2 things I've wondered for a while:

1) RDJ basically doesn't have to do any action scenes, right? Everything Iron Man does is CGI and RDJ just has to do a handful of in-helmet shots.

2) For something like Deadpool, what's to stop them from just using the stunt guy for most of the shots?

Really, nothing honestly. They could easily film someone else doing everything with the actor coming in on a afternoon to record some lines.

But I think it boils down to how much they care about it. Like, with the enthusiasm that Reynolds has for the character, I don't doubt that it's him in the suit most of the time. But hey, he could be lying and I would never know!

I would have liked to see them try to get Reynolds out of the suit after he'd spent about a decade getting the film into production. He's only 39, he spent roughly a quarter of his life working to make that role a reality.

One thing I don't get about Civil War is that Iron Man and Captain America are on opposite sides of what I would expect. I would think Tony would be a vigilante and Cap would be all truth justice and the America way.

I think their main difference lies in what constitutes the American Way. In AoU this was made clear when Cap was all "Every time someone tried to win a war before it started things go bad" while Tony was "But ALIENS! We need to be ready for the ALIENS!"

One of the clips released spells this out, he wants to answer to nobody because he is concerned about bureaucracy getting in the way of allowing the Avengers to do their job. He doesn't trust the system because after Hydra he see's it as easily corrupted.

At the end of First Avenger, Cap realizes something is wrong when Shield fucks up and plays the wrong recording of a baseball game. Dude is mad for baseball.

Cap was born in 1920, the time of the First Red Scare, after the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. They didn't distinguish between communism and socialism in that period.

If anything, I think Cap is socially liberal and fiscally conservative.

I read that the budget for Infinity War is $1 billion, with $400m going to directors, writers, producers, and principal cast, and $200 million of that going to RDJ.

I mean, good on his agent for squeezing every last dollar out of Disney, but gat drat.

I feel like Captain America would be better if he pulled a Superman and stopped being American, but then his name would be really awkward at that point.

No way that's accurate, not for two movies. What are the current record holders an actor and director have gotten for money for doing a movie?

Nah cause cap is supposed to be ahead of his time , he's all for helping out the little guy. cap isn't america the literal, he's the idea of america, the spirit of freedom and all that jazz they told poor immigrants to come here.cap isn't supposed to stand for the government but for the people and that's why he doesn't stand for the government infringing upon the rights of the people. I mean the way he talked about registration in the clip the government can force you into or out of any conflict it wants if you have superpowers. I'm still wondering why black panther is ok with this, does he have diplomatic immunity?
