Look at the wikipedia page for coal mine accidents in China if you want a clear picture of what not caring about safety does to miners. Here's a hint: it kills them by the thousand.

That article also mentions the six-figure salaries these guys were getting. Is it really that hard to expect that if I'm going to pay a guy more than a hundred thousand dollars a year, to do something he'd probably get fifty or sixty grand for in the city, that he have some personal responsibility and mindfulness of safety?

Also it's any type of tobacco more than three times in the last six months, and e-cigs count against you. Also it's not just you but also any of your dependants. I still doubt they will actually test. The schadenfreude is on all Americans for living in a place where it's normal for your boss to fiddle around with your blood.

You can enroll in the quit smoking program to stop getting charged every month, but even then the adjustment only comes around every six months, so you could complete the program and still pay 100/mo for five months. I don't smoke BTW, but if I did and told them about it that would more than double what I pay for my insurance.
