People were screaming into the void even on old Kugu. It was pretty dumb because they were, for the most part, people who didn't make any decisions or were involved with their groups leadership. They just wanted to scream about X or Y person/group at the top of their lungs. It's the same thing you see on FHC with all the whining by people like Marlona or Seraph6. That said, if they make it worthwhile for people to post battlereports etc. for the different fights that would be pretty cool since that section was pretty neat.

I think the biggest problem is that EVE players are terrible people who just want to scream at others and feel superior. There will never be a place of rational discussion that will not devolve into screams of, "The Martini sucks!" "gently caress CCP!" "gently caress goons!" "LOL TEST!"  Unless you have some poor soul who spends his entire time moderating 24/7  I nominate deadtear.

It only really went to poo poo after goons stopped caring leaving just elite pvpers to circlejerk all day. Around the Halloween war time there was some fun back and forth.

Even newbies are extremely helpful and we'll be able to give you free ships and isk. Don't stay in highsec to build skills dude. You don't really need that. Its not about how many sp you have, its about who you fly with. E: make sure you join one of the corporation in the alliance first, obviously :P

If it has sansha,angel,blood raider,guristas or the other one in the name it is exactly the same as a null sec site that would normally spawn in the region of space inhabited by those rats. But the site itself has no rats. The faction just determines what the loot table is. W space specific sites will have names with no null faction name in them. Like forgotten recursive etc. These have sleepers and you will die. Just fly around cherry picking null sites that spawn in w space. Also relic sites average like 20 times as much isk as data sites

Dreads can lock out to 300km now - I tried to see how effective that distance would be on tranversal by shooting an aurora rev at an abaddon. Turns out it still can't hit it until it's below 20m/s. HAW revs are awesome though, reminds me of the 120km scorch sniper apocs of yesteryear when locus rigs didn't stack nerf.

adding my vote for SAFleet If relevant people actually used Kugu and there was a balanaced mod team I think it would be pretty drat great and significantly better than eve by virtue of being based on a forums-style structure rather than a self-moderation-via-upvote-style structure
